Help with the solution

Save you password and username with your password manager in your webbrowser. Therefore you don’t have to enter all credentials at every loging again and again. Your login link is https://eqksecure.healthbrain.care.

After login, you directly reach the dashboard with all widgets. You probably have three different reasons for login:

  1. You want to start a workflow (patient onboarding and automatically sending PROMs/PREMs) – click on the workflow you want to start in the image below (see red number 1) 
  2. You want to have a look at all PROMs/PREMs patient results – have a look at the diagrams in the image below (see red number 2) 
  3. You want to have a look at just one specific patient results – click on the patient you are interested in (or search for the patient and click on it) (see red number 3 in the image below) 

After you clicked on the specific workflow you will get to a step by step scenario, where you are able to onboard the patient and start the PROMs-series (workflow). The patient then gets invited, register herself for an individual account and accepts the different consents in working together with you and contributing her data for study purposes (de-personalized).

In the images below you’ll find the different steps from “start workflow” with the blue button at the beginning to patient onboarding, indicating surgery date and actually start the workflow at the end. If the intervention data is unknown yet you are able to click on “Submit intervention date later” -> there you also have a possibility to delegate upcoming reminders for setting the intervention date to someone else.

healthbrain platform offers you a broad set of features and functionalities. Everything you’ll find in the dashboard is active and you are able to use it. Beside to do videocalls you are able to upload and manage documents, can create groups or even care groups around a specific patient and collaborate on a broad scale with your peers. You also are able to directly communicate with your patients and handover certain information or documentation.

In your account, you’ll find a Help section marked with a question mark (?). Clicking the question mark will take you to a help page where many of your questions are answered. If you’d like to contact us directly, you can click the Support button. This will send a request to the patient organization (patientenstelle.ch), and a member of staff will decide whether they can answer your question themselves or forward it to the appropriate specialist.

Purpose of data collection

Your personal health data is collected and processed within the Digital Health Platform to obtain a current and comprehensive picture of your health status. This enables better medical assessment and can contribute to improved treatment outcomes.

For optimal and transparent data analysis, your information can be evaluated using mathematical and statistical methods and presented to you, and, if additionally desired, to your healthcare providers or relatives, in an easily understandable way.

 

Types of Data Collected

Depending on your use of the platform, the following data categories may be collected and securely stored:

  • Personal data (e.g., name, date of birth, contact details)
  • Medical and health-related data (e.g., symptoms, diagnoses, treatment history, lifestyle information, outcome measurements)
  • Legal data in the form of time-sensitive consents
  • Technical usage data (e.g., access logs, device information, timestamps)

All data processing is carried out in compliance with applicable data protection laws (in particular the EU General Data Protection Regulation – GDPR and the GDPR in Germany and other EU countries, as well as the nDSG in Switzerland).

 

Access to and Control Over Your Personal Data:

Through your secure personal account in the digital health solution, you have full control over your data. You can:

  • Access your personal data at any time
  • Edit, update, or delete your data
  • Delete your personal account at any time
  • Decide who else besides you is allowed to access your data

 

Your contacts and the solution will regularly ask you how you would like to share your data. For example, you can grant specific healthcare professionals access to selected data for therapeutic purposes. You will also be asked to renew previously granted consents at regular intervals.

 

Data Sharing with Healthcare Professionals:

Healthcare professionals may only share your personal and medical data with other healthcare professionals involved in your care with your explicit consent, in order to determine the most appropriate therapy or treatment pathway and achieve the best possible health outcomes. All healthcare professionals with access to your data are bound by medical confidentiality and data protection regulations and must ensure that your data is handled securely and confidentially.

 

Data Security and Privacy

The solution implements strict technical and organizational measures to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of your data. These include encryption, secure data transmission, access control, and continuous monitoring in accordance with the ISO 27001 and ISO 27799 standards. Your data will never be sold or used for commercial purposes without your explicit consent.

 

Withdrawal of Consent

You can withdraw your consent to data processing or transfer at any time. After withdrawal, your data will be deleted or anonymized in accordance with statutory retention requirements.
